2003 Eagle Island Cross Series

November 24- Tipo Wins Eagle Island Cross Series
Conditions at the Eagle Island Cyclocross race were bad, but for Tad Hamilton of iomega-Orbea, that was the last thing on his mind. With his sick baby boy Hudson having to undergo some unpleasent testing at Saint Luke's hospital. With his win, he dedicated his victory to his son Hudson, by symbolically rocking the craddle as he crossed the finish line.

Racers took off like they were being shot from a canon, turning the small pack into a spread out single file line in just a few minutes. Tad would leave the group quickly and never come back. Team George's rider Mike Kennedy put in a good effort and great race, coming in around only 30 seconds behind Tad.
